My mentoring expertise relates to the outdoor adventure recreation business field and wildlands interpretation/education - the stewardship of wild nature part of Wild Gift's mission.

During 2012 I  will be traveling throughout the US, visiting Wild Gift projects along the way and will therefore not be available for project mentoring.   However, do call if you have an advice question.

My work history:   Founder of Wild Gift 2002.  Executive Director 2002-07; 2009-10.  Currently serving on the Board.   Founder/Operator/Guide of Sun Valley Trekking (www.svtrek.com) 1982- 2001. Middle School teacher and US Forest Service Wilderness Ranger/Idaho 1974-80. Fishery Biologist in Idaho/Alaska/Greenland 1965 – 73. Also, Professional Ski Instructor Sun Valley, Idaho and author of Ski Magazine’s ‘Total Skiing’ book.  Educated at the universities of Wyoming and Idaho.  My home country is central Idaho which I love to explore with family, friends and my partner Sarah Michael while backpacking, boating, skiing, fishing and hunting.    My special siren is exploring North America's wildest landscapes, especially Alaska.
