Wild Gift is a dynamic program and family. In five years, the program has evolved from a compelling 20-day deep wilderness experience, which inspires leaders to be, forever, stewards of wild nature to a 17-month program that launches their ‘better world’ entrepreneurial projects. Now, we are developing a Leader Network to keep alumni, mentors, and investors connected and energized to work collaboratively on ongoing and new projects. To collectively design and implement policy and legislation ensuring unity and peace between all humanity and with wild nature. The Network enables leaders to keep in touch and apprise each other of their current work and share wisdom (meet the Wild Gift leaders and their projects). As the Network develops, it will keep leaders informed of Wild Gift trips, seminars and resources that expand their expertise and keep them healthy. When leaders log-on to the Network, they should first visit the Action forum where they can find current and archived opportunities to respond to action requests posted by other leaders in the Network. The Network will link mentors and leaders. The leader, whether an alumni or recipient, will find expert counsel for her project here. As alumni extend their reach and develop new projects for which they need help, they can make an Action post decribing the employment opportunity. New Wild Gift recipients can find the documents they need to complete the Wild Gift program in the Leaders' Recipient Packet. Wild Gift Applicants who were not selected for the program and are moving on with their project proposal, may find help or partnerships among fellow applicants or program alumni. They can also check-out the pages of fellow leaders and post directly to their page. Wild Gift will develop an endowment that not only launches projects of new Wild Gift leaders but will continue to support the project goals of alumni. There will be a Grants tab indicating funds available and bequests by donors for specific projects that are aligned with the Wild Gift mission of promoting wildlands stewardship and the development of sustainable communities. You can fast track to Wild Gift leader websites and that of other organizations that share the goals of our mission to build a better world on our links page. |
