Wild Gift strives to give its supporters a tangible investment experience. One can be involved as a leader mentor or in the Wild Gift treks.   Of these options, investors relate that mentoring is the most satisfying.  Mentors help develop the leader’s project proposal and serve in its implementation. The relationship may extend to visiting the leader at the project site for a personal tour.   A mentor may desire to support a leader through all components of the Wild Gift program or offer counsel on just a single aspect of the project contract.  We invite anyone interested in developing a dynamic young leader’s personal vision and power to get involved with the Wild Gift program as mentors.  Leader project and contact information is provided upon request from the Wild Gift Executive Director. The Deep Wilderness & Leadership Enrichment Treks

Each year, four investor positions are available on the 20-day deep wilderness trek and two on the 7-day leadership enrichment trek.  These treks are an exciting opportunity to interact with all the young leaders of a Wild Gift class and participate in the trek discussions, seminars and leadership project evaluations.  Participants must be in excellent physical condition.

Bob’s Wild Connections Trips

These trips are from 1-10 days duration. Participants contribute to discussions about leadership issues and current Wild Gift leader projects.  They share wildness in a beautiful wilderness setting.  Participants supply their own field equipment and food.  Trip options for varying levels of physical condition are available.  These trips are led by Wild Gift founder Bob Jonas who may be assisted by a Wild Gift leader.  Please contact Bob at bob@wildgift.org for a trip schedule and details.
