After her Alaska treks of 2002&03, Sarah completed a Masters Program in environmental studies at Duke University with an emphasis on sustainable tourism. She is currently the Environmental Planner for the Territory of American Samoa with the Dept. of Commerce’s Coastal Management Program. She is tasked with improving the quality of the coast zone, assessing land use permits, and promoting environmental stewardship.
