Ways to Donate

Besides direct involvement in Wild Gift as leader mentors or in our treks, investors are supporting leaders whose work gets results today and will have a continuing and positive benefit for humankind and the natural environment over the lifetime of the leader.  Wild Gift attracts young leaders who already have a proven record of leadership and are eager to implement self-designed project proposals that are both visionary and practical.  We select leaders and projects that are models and can be leveraged to other locations.  Project proposals are developed into well-defined contracts that ensure success and accountability.  Please Meet the Wild Gift Leaders for biographical capsules and results of their projects.

Financial Investment Opportunities

1. Multiple Leader Grant – This is a gift of more than $15,000.

2. Leader Grant – A Leader Grant supports a leader through all components of the Wild Gift opportunity.  This is a gift of $11,000 - $15,000

3. Project Grant – A Project Grant supports a leader’s project.  This is a gift of $8,000 – $10,999.

4. Wilderness Trek Grant – This is a grant of $1,000 - $5,000 which supports the wilderness trek components of the Wild Gift opportunity.

5. Advocate – This is a gift of $50 - $500.

1% For The Planet

Wild Gift is now a beneficiary of 1% For The Planet.  Since 2002, 1% For The Planet has inspired members of the business community to contribute 1% of sales to environmental groups around the world.  It requires that environmental organizations receive their donations directly from member companies. Businesses and non-profits work together to determine how much -- and at what point during the year -- money is received.
